Here at The YES foundation DC, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2020, we have been determined to make an impact within the communities we work in. The core of our efforts is to bring our positive youth character development and positive community development to the range of activities we’re involved in within our communities. Through all of our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
Gun Violence Programs for youth in DC
The YES Foundation know how much gun violence in DC could be a major issue to youth growing up in underserved neighborhoods through the Washington DC area. We took an extra step to help youth stray away from violence going on within their communities and provided them with a free day of fun and learning opportunities. With your help, we can make this program an every day program that could put many youth in a safe environment.
Continuing Education for Youth Outside of School
We know that youth growing up in underserved communities can struggle with school work and understanding material after school. The YES Foundation has made education a key component towards their organization by giving youth one - to - one academic help that will improve the educational needs of youth struggle in academics. Learn how you can help us improve the academics of many youth within the DC area.
Support for Communities
